Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026 · Compliant with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP/nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
1. Who is responsible
The controller for the processing of your personal data is Marta Caprez, Zürich, Switzerland — hello@martacaprez.com. For any privacy question or request, contact this address.
2. What data we process, and why
- Contact & enquiries — if you email or use a contact/waitlist form: your name, email and the content of your message, used only to respond and, where relevant, to arrange sessions.
- Booking & sessions — name, email, phone number and any notes you provide when you schedule, used to deliver and manage your sessions and send reminders.
- Payments — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are not seen or stored by us; we receive only confirmation and basic transaction data.
3. Legal bases
We process your data to perform a contract with you (delivering sessions you book), on the basis of your consent (e.g. contacting us, joining a waitlist), and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the practice — always in line with the revFADP and, where it applies, the GDPR.
4. Service providers (processors)
We use trusted providers to run the practice, who process data on our behalf:
- Google Workspace — email and calendar.
- Calendly — scheduling of sessions.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- [Website host — e.g. Lovable/hosting provider] — hosting of this website.
Some of these providers are based outside Switzerland/the EU (e.g. the USA). Where data is transferred abroad, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent legal mechanism.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain our client relationship, and to meet legal or accounting retention obligations (in Switzerland, typically up to 10 years for business records). After that it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@martacaprez.com. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
7. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function properly. [If analytics or marketing cookies are later added, this section will be updated and consent requested.]
8. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version always applies and is dated above.
